Youngstown, N.Y., Looking at Short-Term Rental Regulations

The Village of Youngstown, N.Y., is considering regulations for short-term rental properties. During a recent Board of Trustee’s meeting, Deputy Mayor Kyle Heath said the village has been working on coming up with a framework for regulation. This comes as the nearby Town of Niagara and Lewiston developed and passed short-term rental regulations of their own. “We’ve got a framework there, we just need to kind of dig through the code and make sure that the code aligns with what we’re trying to do,” Heath said.
