2024 Community Impact Award: Seaside Vacation & Sales

The VRMA Excellence Awards celebrate and recognize the incredible work, contributions, and impact that vacation rental professionals have made in the past year. We are highlighting each of the 11 award recipients in 2024, continuing today with the Community Impact Award: Seaside Vacation & Sales. 

Seaside Vacation & Sales received this award for the company’s exceptional commitment to community service, with a special focus on supporting victims of domestic violence. Seaside empowers employees to volunteer on the clock, regularly giving time to causes like Manna Cafe and beach cleanups, fostering a company culture of direct action and positive impact.

Their recent partnership with the Eastern Shore Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ESCADV) embodies this dedication. Seaside provides no-cost property management services, maintenance, and guidance to manage Hope Harbor on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. This initiative offers crucial shelter for those fleeing abusive situations, especially in a rural area where resources are scarce. Seaside’s support extends beyond emergency housing to provide transitional housing, aiding families as they rebuild their lives.

Though the program is new, it is expected to support at least 10 families simultaneously. Seaside’s efforts go beyond monetary donations; the company is actively involved in providing tangible support and safety to those in need.
