2024 President’s Award: Sue Jones

The VRMA Excellence Awards celebrate and recognize the incredible work, contributions, and impact that vacation rental professionals have made in the past year. We are highlighting each of the 11 award recipients in 2024, continuing today with the President’s Award: Sue Jones. 

Named after the renowned humanitarian Pedro Mandoki, this award honors those who demonstrate compassion, leadership, and a commitment to making the world a better place, embodying the values of selflessness and advocacy for positive change.

This year’s was Sue Jones. Jones is the owner and founder of HR4VR, the vacation rental industry’s first dedicated human resources support service. Since 2012, she has worked with over 75 vacation rental management clients across the country, offering tailored HR programs to meet the unique needs of property managers. Jones is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and holds an MBA from Northeastern University. Known for her thought leadership, Jones regularly speaks at industry conferences and contributes to publications like VRMA Arrival.
