Four jurisdictions moved the same direction at once: Pacific, Missouri (eliminating STRs as a conditional use in all residential and non-urban districts), West Bountiful, Utah (prohibiting DADU-based STRs pending review), Truckee, California (deed-restricted ban on sub-30-day rentals in a new district), and Carson City, Nevada (barring STRs via CC&Rs).

Why It Matters: Individually these are small jurisdictions, but taken together, it signals momentum toward flat prohibitions rather than regulation. Elimination of a permitted use is the hardest outcome for members to reverse once adopted.
