Airbnb and Airbnb.org Partner with Caribbean Agencies Ahead of Hurricane Season

Airbnb and Airbnb.org have partnered with Caribbean disaster management agencies to improve emergency housing and preparedness ahead of the 2026 hurricane season. Airbnb.org signed an agreement with the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA), covering 20 member countries, to help provide free temporary accommodation for people displaced by natural disasters. Under the arrangement, CDEMA will coordinate local response efforts to identify housing needs, while Airbnb.org will mobilize available listings through its platform.
