EU Records Nearly 1 Billion Nights of Online Rentals

The European Union recorded nearly 1 billion nights booked in short-term rentals in 2025, highlighting rapid growth in online accommodation platforms. According to Eurostat, guests spent 951.6 million nights in properties listed on platforms, up 11.4% from 2024 and more than 32% higher than 2023. Demand remained strong throughout the year, including a 10.9% rise in the final quarter. Coastal regions dominated the rankings, with Croatia leading the hotspots.
