Expedia Extends BNPL Partnership with Affirm

Expedia Group has expanded its multi-year partnership with financial technology firm Affirm, making it the exclusive buy now, pay later (BNPL) provider across Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo. The agreement covers hotel and travel package bookings, with Affirm also rolling out to selected Canadian properties soon. Eligible customers receive real-time approval at checkout and can choose monthly repayment plans of up to 24 months, including interest-free options on some short-term plans in the U.S. Expedia says the move reflects growing demand for flexible, transparent payment options as travel booking increasingly begins earlier in digital and AI-driven journeys.
