Expedia to Integrate with Alexa+ in 2026

Amazon announced that Expedia will be one of four new partners building AI capabilities for its next-generation Alexa+ assistant, set to launch in 2026. With Expedia integration, Alexa+ users can search, compare, book, and manage vacation rentals worldwide, with personalized results based on price, type, and location. Expedia’s AI initiatives also include naming a chief AI officer and partnering with Google, OpenAI, and Perplexity to explore agentic travel booking and AI-powered travel planning.
