Guesty Launches Industry-Specific Payments Suite with AI Fraud Detection

Guesty has launched the Guesty Pay Suite, an integrated payments system for short-term rental (STR) operators combining native payment processing with AI-driven fraud detection. During a 12-month U.S. pilot covering over 30,000 properties, chargebacks fell 62% per reservation and 65% per payment volume. The suite includes Guesty Pay, handling deposits, refunds, cancellations, and OTA or direct bookings, and Guesty Pay Protect, which uses machine learning and 3D Secure authentication to prevent fraud. The tools provide operators real-time transaction visibility, faster payouts, and reduced payment failures.
