Hamilton County Commission Votes Against Changes to STR Rules

The Hamilton County, Tennessee, Commission on June 5 voted against a resolution to change short-term rental (STR) rules. The changes would have banned the ownership of STRs within residentially-zoned communities. "I view it as a property rights issue, and that makes it tough," said District 7 Commissioner Lee Helton.
