Homeowner Files Complaint Against Gallatin County over Short-Term Rentals

A homeowner in Bridger Canyon has filed a complaint against Gallatin County, Montana, to reverse a decision prohibiting short-term rentals if not specifically included in zoning regulations. Sean Lewis filed litigation in Gallatin County’s 18th District Court on Mar. 22. Beyond the appeal, Lewis is seeking to recover damages since being prohibited from renting his property, according to court documents.
