HomeToGo Completes Acquisition of Vacation Rental Operator Interhome for $200 Million

HomeToGo has acquired Swiss vacation rental operator Interhome for over $200 million, a move expected to triple its profitability and accelerate its pivot toward business-to-business services. Founded as a consumer-facing rental search platform, HomeToGo is shifting focus to property management software through its HomeToGo Pro division. Interhome, which manages 40,000 properties across Europe, will significantly boost B2B revenue and reshape the company’s financial mix. CEO Patrick Andrae emphasized doubling down on vacation rentals rather than expanding into other sectors, positioning the Berlin-based firm for profitability.
