HomeToGo Confirms Discussions to Acquire Interhome Group

HomeToGo confirmed it is non-exclusive talks to acquire Interhome Group, a subsidiary of the Hotelplan Group, from Switzerland-based retail specialist Migros. Hotelplan, whose brands include vacation rental business Interhome, Inghams, Explore, and Esprit, was put up for sale earlier this year as Migros sought to focus on core businesses in financial services and healthcare. Germany-based HomeToGo has been on an acquisition spree recently as it develops from a vacation rental metasearch service to a booking platform.
