HomeToGo Expands WeatherPromise Partnership

HomeToGo has expanded its partnership with weather protection provider WeatherPromise to France and the Netherlands, following a successful launch in Germany in 2024. The feature compensates travelers if rainfall reaches a set threshold during their stay, marking the first time a European short-term rental platform integrated weather coverage directly into bookings. The rollout also extends to Interhome, Europe’s second-largest vacation rental manager, following its acquisition by HomeToGo. David Klemm of WeatherPromise called the expansion a natural progression due to growing demand, while HomeToGo’s Ben Gordon said it enhances guest experiences.
