Hostaway Launches Generative AI Response Tool

Vacation rental property management software company Hostaway launched a native generative-AI tool designed to instantly create tailored responses to common inquiries. Hostaway says the feature—known as AI Auto Reply—pulls together reservation information, listing details, and custom host instructions to generate instant, personalized replies. Property managers remain completely in control, with options to review messages or fully automate replies with built-in safeguards ensuring accuracy and compliance. AI adoption among Hostaway's customer base has increased 170% over the past year, and usage of its AI tools has tripled since the beginning of 2025. Applications from AI-focused partners to join Hostaway's marketplace have gone up 120% in the last six months. Demand for AI Auto Reply has been “exceptionally strong,” with an early access waiting list filled within days and new customers being onboarded weekly throughout the third quarter.
