Jervis Systems and ZKTeco Partner to Bring Modern Access Control to Hotels and STRs

Jervis Systems has partnered with access control technology provider ZKTeco USA to integrate its VG10CKQ and EP20CKQ smart readers into Jervis's property automation and guest experience platform. The integration is designed for resorts, hotels, and short-term rental operators eager to offer guests modern door and entry gate access options, including use of QR codes and digital wallets, without requiring a full hardware replacement. Upgrading access control often requires replacing existing hardware and credentials. For STR operators, in particular, the challenge is compounded by constant turnover where guests cycle through frequently and any disruption to access during a transition can directly affect the guest experience. In addition, many operators find themselves locked into proprietary systems where switching vendors means beginning the installation over from scratch. ZKTeco's readers address this issue directly.
