A federal judge has granted Airbnb and the Greater Las Vegas Short-Term Rental Association a temporary injunction blocking enforcement of Clark County (Nevada)'s short-term rental rules. The plaintiffs argue the ordinances and state law infringe on property owners’ rights to lease homes. Judge Miranda Du found Airbnb could face serious financial harm due to compliance costs and a backlog of applications. The injunction halts enforcement while the lawsuit proceeds. Clark County said it is reviewing the order but declined further comment.
