The Nevada Supreme Court determined that Clark County cannot deny a short-term rental application based solely on whether a property utilizes a septic system, a new ruling that STR owners are describing as a big victory. The tussle over septic systems and STRs in the county has played out for years. The ruling means Clark County's septic system ban will not be reinstated. If it had, notes Greater Las Vegas Short Term Rental Association President Jacqueline Flores, hundreds of STR properties would be deemed illegal.
