Rentals United Launches Screen & Protect Service

Rentals United has launched Screen & Protect, a property protection service that allows hosts to verify guests during the booking process and provides compensation of up to €50,000. Introduced as an alternative to security deposits, the service removes guest involvement, potentially boosting bookings from guests who may be deterred by the need for a security deposit. A survey conducted by Rentals United earlier this year with participants from 11 countries found that up to 90% of hosts surveyed have experienced guest-related damages, with more than half managing three or more incidents in the past two years.
