Scottsdale City Council Approves Changes to STR Rules
5/15/2024
The City of Scottsdale, Arizona, has approved new rules for short-term rentals (STRs) that are aimed at reducing noise and out-of-control parties that take place at the properties. Three new rules were approved unanimously by the City Council, one of which will make anyone who promotes a party that grows out of control at an STR the responsible party. The second will give Scottsdale police the right to remove any non-residents from a property after a party has been declared a nuisance, and the third rule prohibits minors from renting STRs.
