Tourism Steady in Okoboji This Summer

Tourism in Okoboji, Iowa, is up about 1% from 2023, and up substantially from last year, according to Tourism Director Kiley Zankowki. Sales tax from vacation rentals was $3.6 million in June, and $6.3 million for the first six months of the year. Cellphone data indicated that there were 92,000 visitors in Okoboji on July 4.
