Vrbo Launches Reserve Now, Pay Later

Vrbo has launched Reserve Now, Pay Later, allowing travelers to book eligible vacation rentals without paying upfront. The feature is part of Expedia Group’s release of more than 30 updates across Vrbo, Expedia, and Hotels.com, and aims to help group organizers coordinate attendees, collect contributions, and manage trip costs. Initially available on Vrbo’s website, it will reach the app in coming weeks. The launch follows Airbnb’s similar feature, introduced for US stays in August 2025 and expanded globally in February, which Airbnb credits with boosting its business.
