Expedia Group Has Best First-Quarter Start in Three Years
Expedia Group reported its strongest first-quarter start in three years, with bookings rising 13% and revenue up 15%, despite disruptions from the Middle East conflict and Mexico travel advisories. CEO Ariane Gorin said cancellations stabilized in April as bookings recovered from tougher conditions in March. Vacation rentals reached a $1 billion annualized run rate for the first time.
