New Bill Would Revive STRs in Small NYC Homes Without Owner Presence
A new bill in New York City, introduced by Councilmember Mercedes Narcisse, would allow owners of one- and two-family homes to rent short-term to up to four adults without being present, partially rolling back the 2023 law that largely banned rentals unless the homeowner was on-site.
