South Carolina Vacation Rentals See Record Revenues

Data released from the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism (SCPRT) shows demand for vacation rentals in the state has surpassed pre-pandemic figures. According to the SCPRT, revenue per available room is up 35 percent for vacation rentals compared to pre-pandemic levels. Rental nights sold are up 68 percent. “These numbers show how popular South Carolina is as a destination, and they show how much importance travelers are putting on vacations," said SCPRT Director Duane Parrish.
