TikTok and Booking.com have launched a pilot program enabling US users to book hotels directly within the TikTok app. Available to 10% of TikTok’s US audience, the feature lets travelers compare prices, check reviews, and confirm reservations through an in-app browser, with booking details sent to their TikTok inbox. The initiative builds on TikTok Go, which allows creators to earn commissions by linking hotels, restaurants, and experiences. Industry experts see the partnership as part of a broader shift toward social commerce in travel. Competitors like Expedia and TourRadar are also rolling out booking tools driven by social media content.
