Casai and Nomah Merge for Latin America Short-Term Rental Expansion

Apartment rental company Casai and Brazilian rental company Nomah will merge; the companies say the combined firm will be the largest short-term rental company in Latin America, with over 3,000 units in Brazil and Mexico. Casai's co-founder and CEO Nico Barawid will lead the merged company as CEO, while Nomah's founder and CEO Thomas Guz will be president. Both companies are expected to retain their brands. "This is a beginning of a new momentum in which we will be able to double our capacity and improve our services to a better guest experience," Guz declared. Barawid called the merger a "giant step forward" for the Latin American hospitality industry.
