Holidu Introduces ‘Eco Properties’ Search Filter

Germany-based vacation rental portal Holidu introduced a new ‘eco properties’ search filter that if activated allows only vacation rentals that meet sustainable criteria to appear. To be labeled as ‘eco,’ an accommodation unit must meet at least eight of 43 environmentally friendly criteria that are defined by Holidu, including waste separation, green electricity, and water-saving systems. “The data shows that there is great interest among travelers and that many prioritize sustainability when looking for vacation accommodation," said Holidu CEO Johannes Siebers.
