It's almost that time of year again!
To celebrate all members and better show prospective members why VRMA can be a great choice for themselves and their businesses, we turned to some current VRMA members to share why they choose VRMA, and why they continue to renew their memberships year after year.
The second member under the spotlight is Maureen Regan, owner of Seaside Vacation Rentals. Here's what Maureen had to say about being involved in VRMA.
Why are you a VRMA member?
I’m a member because I believe in the organization’s ability to lift us all to a more professional level.
Can you talk a little about your journey with VRMA?
I joined in the early 1990’s and found that I was not the only person out there who was struggling to make my vacation rental company grow and handle issues that prior to joining I felt were only happening to me.
What do you value most about being a VRMA member?
I really value the education and incredible member network [of VRMA]. But even more than that, I feel that by joining together as professionals, our voice is stronger.
What would your advice be to new members to get the most out of their VRMA membership?
Attend conferences and don’t be afraid to reach out to others and share your stories. You’ll be surprised at the friends you’ll meet and the answers you’ll get to help you grow.
