    Advocacy Spotlight: Central Florida Counties

When Vacation Rental managers need support with government regulations the VRMA advocacy team is quick to help.

An increasing concern by Central Florida communities helped bring together a newly formed coalition, the Central Florida Vacation Rental Professionals.

These Central Florida managers, working with the VRMA team, acted quickly to organize and address some local concerns by scheduling regular meetings with the sheriff's department and area code enforcement, as well as area HomeOwners' Associations.

By addressing concerns before they led to regulations and by promoting a high level of professionalism, the Central Florida managers have become the go-to organization in the area for the vacation rental industry. The group quickly created a code of conduct and self-governing rules, assuaging the topics of concern while setting the long-term stage for a successful relationship with area stakeholders.
