Expedia Wants ChatGPT to Be Your Travel Adviser

Expedia is rolling out a new ChatGPT feature in its app that will allow users to plan trips by conversing with a chatbot powered by the technology. Through the feature, which is in its beta-testing phase, travelers can ask for recommendations and book directly off some of the recommendations. “ChatGPT is a search tool—it's a new way of thinking, a new way of searching, a new way of experiencing,” Expedia CEO Peter Kern said. “And we want to meet customers where they are.”Expedia is rolling out a new ChatGPT feature in its app that will allow users to plan trips by conversing with a chatbot powered by the technology.
