In this interview, Sonder CEO Francis Davidson acknowledges that his company has undergone a lot of changes throughout the years and is poised for more, with the short-term rental operator considering expansions to popular leisure markets. "We think that having a lot of brands can actually become a little bit confusing to the customer," he says. "And what’s most important is to show what exactly is it that you’re getting when you’re looking at a specific property. ... The brand can communicate more of a philosophy, which for us is being designed forward, which is being tech driven and therefore offering a modern service experience, so those are the things that we really focus on."
